Our Story
RPNT Management Service was founded in 1996 by Stephen D. Smith and his partner, both of whom brought extensive healthcare experience working alongside physicians who were frustrated with the business demands of running a practice. Stephen recognized that physicians who had the right business partner behind them would be willing to build their own facilities, labs, and ancillary services; they simply needed the support and expertise to take that first step.
That insight became the foundation of RPNT. Stephen believed that when physicians felt confident their financials were in competent hands, they could focus on what they did best: delivering patient care. Since 1996, RPNT has managed dialysis centers, catheter labs, office-based labs, physician practices, urgent care clinics, surgical centers, inpatient hospitals, vascular access centers, and more. Now in our 30th year, we have helped hundreds of independent practices, labs, and surgery centers across the United States grow and thrive.
